I think you could open up a tabloid magazine….male celebrit hairstyles are "hot." Or, just go out and buy a book on current hairstyles in fashion. You know, those ones they let you read when you wait to get your hair cut at the salon.

High lights always help.. and I like the side swept bang idea. It will give you a option.
I know you said you are tired of the same hair styles… have you tried variations … like instead of a plain tight pony tail … try a messy ponytail…. or a head band/scarf and ponytail
or I love the hump in the front…you can do that with your down, in a bun or pony tail…. but it's different.

well i have the same hair as u and i always get bobby pins and in the back i twist it up and pin it all the was as far as it will go and then if you have bangs then i would pin those up too but that is how i would put my hair up..

please dont do tutorials if your not gonna do every step all the way thru….plus how many people wear their hair like that? thats style u wear in the house to place ur hair up…that is hardly an updo…

a hairstyle that really looks cool with curly hair is to push back a section of ur hair and tie it up with a clip and leave them open…with some bangs on the foreheaad..it gives a cute yet flirty look..try it

have it hanging straight and curled at the bottom, make a low tight bun keeping the front straight with gel or wax, make a top pony tail, curl the tail and hang the curls loosely around the pony tail.

We work around a lot of moving machinery so we have to wear our hair up or cut it shoulder length.
If a person works in an eating establishment then they should have to wear it short and/or a hairnet.
If a person works in an office or with the public then they shouldn't have their hair all different colors or crazily cut.
As far as ethnicity, that shouldn't make any difference if the rules apply to everyone, i.e. putting hair up and color.
