Help answer the question about box braids styles
Hair Help!!?I have tried different looks with hair extions a.k.a weaves after taking them out my hair started feeling looking boring to me so i got my hair cut into layers which i usually do, the person i was recommended to, to get the cut, gave me the worst cut ever and now my hair is way shorter than it used to be and just not working for me at all! what should i do next?
should i try putting in box braids extions in a nice type of deep wave and leave it in for a while so my hair can grow back?
Should i cut my hair to the proper layering style i want it in and get fresh highlights or a permenant color and let the hair breath?
or Should i get a new weave with a "hott" short bob?

that video has a few, also when the pain stops, you can take sections and put them in like 4-6 bigger braids, then leave them in over night, in the morning they will be wavy and really pretty. like the link below

for the pain:
tylenol, asprin, motrin or aleve may help. its going to hurt for a little while, try not 2 scratch it sometimes it makes it worse. just lightly tap the spot. make sure u keep ur scalp greased. hope i helped.

Actually Miss Jessie’s doesn’t even claim to be a natural hair care line. People have decided to give it this label because a few products in don’t use certain ingredients. It’s an overpriced product with cheap ingredients. You can buy higher quality all natural products without the fillers (mineral oil etc.) for 1/3 or less than their prices. I’l never understand why they are still patronized.
Family going Natural – I would definitely publicize this vid more so others know. Thanks!

Boxed braids are so cute, and so are twists that people put their hair in. Join a hair care forum and you'll find many people that style their hair with braids (including boxed) and will link to their hair journal wear they have more styles and maintenance routines. You can also ask on the forums and they'll give you loads of advice. You can find forums on the sites I've listed.

okay is anyone noticing that the baby is totally fine and happy-we should be mindful of how we react and handle situations-do what you need to do but dont stress her or make her feel that something is wrong-as kids we start to form concepts by watching our parents-and we shouldnt experiment with our children at all-although natural their hair and scalps are different-why not just use a basiic shampoo conditioner and moisturizer

So, you want to do a hairstyle that looks like a weave, but without using the weave? Hahah. Anyway, rubber bands break off your hair, so if you're okay with it then go ahead. I know what kind of style you're going for because my nephew does something similar, but I wouldn't put a lot of rubber bands, or glue for that matter, in my hair….
Of course, this is if we're talking about the same style…..

You know, its funny that I come across this video now. I too had jet black hair like the girl in your video and I used a product I believe in high school that make the top of my hair (the parts exposed to the sun the most) turn brown. I didn’t know how that happened buty I thought it was cute at the time too. I was relaxed at the time for only 2 years when that happened. When I went natural I noticed it grew out black again. Sorry this happened to your kid but THANK YOU for sharing.

cfour69 – you must not have natural hair! LOL! The line of products this woman uses IS for natural hair. It IS basic shampoo and conditioner, just for curly/natural hair. It’s no different than “experimenting” with basic shampoo/conditioner. Most of what you would describe as “basic” has harmful ingredients that hurt our black hair. Like alchohol. Sheesh!

her hair is still beautiful…to me

Some African-American salons only cater to natural hairstyles, while most do offer a variety like relaxing, perming and braiding. Just make a phone call! Also, check to see if there's a cosmetology school in your area. They have the latest trends in hairstyling and they're usually MUCH cheaper because the stylists are students. And they're usually supervised.
