The company was formed in 1997 through a merger between Royal Copenhagen A/S, the Swedish art glassware company Orrefors Kosta Boda, the Swedish industrial arts company Boda-Nova Hoganas Keramik and the Italian glassworks Venini.

Royal Scandinavia dates back to 1742, when the Kosta glassworks were founded. The Royal Porcelain Manufacturer was founded in 1775 on the initiative of the royal house in Denmark. The European royal families of that time competed with each other about owning the most beautiful porcelain objects, which were extremely expensive then and known as the white gold. The Flora Danica dinner set, which King Christian VII ordered from Royal Copenhagen, is a perfect example, and it is still considered one of the most exclusive sets in the world.

In addition to porcelain from Royal Copenhagen, the group’s products now range from silver from Georg Jensen, art glassware from Orrefors, Kosta Boda and Venini, functional glassware from Holmegaard to stoneware, steel cutlery and glass from Boda Nova Hoganas.

Royal Copenhagen dinnerware or even Danish china tableware, then you know quality. Rosssimon will make you feel even better about your lighthouse dinnerware or break resistant dinnerware purchase by offering a complete return or replace guarantee on purchases. Even great quality products such as royal copenhagen dinnerware and danish china tableware may have reason for return. Not so much for quality reasons, but maybe you simply changed your mind on the pattern of patriotic dinnerware or larimar dinnerware originally selected. If you need to return any or all of your royal copenhagen dinnerware or other top brand place settings you also won’t have to worry about lugging those heavy boxes back to the store. Please purchase on online www.etabletop.com

Enjoy! www.glamazini.com
Help answer the question about box braids
I have african american hair and i pressed it to often so its now straight dead. Will box braids help?
Its either i cut off the dead part or grow it out. I don't want to cut it because it will take about 4 years to grow back so by putting box braids in will it help the press come out?

How much will my basement remodeling project cost me? Well that depends on how much of the actual work you are prepared to do yourself and, just how fancy is your new finished basement going to be? Will it have a bathroom? Will it have a fancy bar area? Will it have a home theater? A home gym? A home office???? Only you know the answers to these questions!

But as a rule of thumb, if you are doing most of the work yourself, below I have a list of what you can expect to spend for each different phase of the job. These prices are my own personal prices, the prices I actually use to estimate the cost of the basement finishing projects that my basement remodeling company has been asked to bid-on! At the end of the list, I will also give you some estimated subcontractor (labor only) prices for the phases of the job that you may not want to tackle yourself! Get out your calculators, here we go:

NOTE* You will supply ALL materials for Sub’s!

I have obviously included EVERYTHING that I would need in this list to finish a basement project! Some of these things you may already have at home! But if you had none of these items, this is what you will need to put the entire project together!

I should add that this is my materials list for a basement project which has the following job design criteria:

1.) The job has a Bathroom w/ a Sewage Ejector System
2.) The job has a eat bar w/ a Tray Pump System
3.) The job is roughly an 800 sq. ft. finished area
4.) The job has 4 interior doors needed
5.) The job has a tile bathroom floor being installed
6.) The ceilings in the basement are drywall
7.) The job has 2 birch bookcases being built and installed
8.) The basement has a floor to ceiling height of about 9′ or less
9.) The Basement needs an “egress exit” window or door to pass local codes for permits
10.) Some phases of the project may or may not be finished by the owner (thus the labor prices)

This pricing list should give you a wonderful reference starting point from which to figure your total Do-It-Yourself basement project construction cost!

five 2 Strand Twist ponytail
Help answer the question about box braids styles
Box braids/ extensions/ hair loss. hELP!?
Hi. I am a 17 year old African American female and 5 days ago I got box braids for the first time. I am currently transitioning from relaxed hair to natural hair and I figured this would make it an easier process. Well, I am already experiencing hair loss around the edges and the braids are very tight. I do not want to take them out because I paid $185 to have it done, but at the same time, I do not want my hair to come out. Is there a way I can keep the braids and stop the breakage before it gets worse or should I just take tem out?

Also, my natural hair is past my shoulders, so it took a bulk of weave to get this style, which also causes even more pulling and stress for my scalp.

Anya Hindmarch’s trendy “I am Not A Plastic Bag” design makes enormous gains in popularity, which sold out of London stores just hours after being released. The aim of the design is simple — to encourage people not to use plastic carrier bags. The simple bag has become a symbol of ethical intent – and a very fashionable one at that.

The popularity of this bag should be proof that consumers are willing and excited to have some non-plastic reusable alternatives. Hindmarch told the media: “I hate the idea of making the environment trendy, but you need to make it cool and then it becomes a habit.”

We are now pleased to see all kinds of reusable bags step into the market and become a focus. Bag manufacturers have sensed this trend and making actions.

Reusable Fabric Options – No More Plastic Bag

String bag: This bag is completely lightweight yet able to carry a lot of groceries. The best thing about it is its ability to stretch, so just when you think you’ve fit all that, you can still throw in that last stuff. Meanwhile, the problem with the string bag is its lack of structure when loading and also the perception that it could be unsanitary, especially when it comes to food.

Lightweight Nylon: The cool thing about this alternative is that it fits in with the current system for bagging groceries at the check-out counter. It is a more durable but still lightweight material compared to the plastic bag. But again it lacks structure when loading.

Heavy Duty Nylon: This bag is made to last a lifetime. Tote bag often made of this heavy nylon. It resembles a traditional paper grocery bag with some added handles; it stands nicely on its own for easy packing. However with that durability and quality of materials come a not-so-compact package. It folds similarly to a paper grocery bag.

Each of them has its advantages and disadvantages. The thing is, they all have the potential to save thousands of throw away PGBs from plastic bags.

Supplementary to Typical Leather Handbag or Designer Bag

At first blush, the trend of reusable shopping bags would seem at odds with the explosive growth of high-end handbags. But it turns out that some consumers are eager to walk around with a $1,000 Coach purse on one arm and the Coach shopping bag it came in on the other.

Until recently, high-priced, top-of-the-line imported handbags were a status symbol. But today, designer goods have flooded the market, are no longer as exclusive as they once were. Every woman needs a leather handbag or a designer bag, but they also need a practical bag, such as a tote bag or shopping bag for holding many stuff that their leather bag can’t handle, such as A4 document, a cup of coffee, lunch box, some big accessories…

For example, last summer in 2007, many women in china are choosing straw bags for their reasonable price, their suitability for the summer season, and the possibility of matching them up with many different styles. The best of all, it is nature and reusable.

Pattern and Style Choice

Environmental friendly people want to be associated and seen with natural fabric bags. Available in soft and natural hues, some bags ooze class and concern. Multicolored patchwork bags, printed bags, embroidered and embossed bags are everyone’s favorite.

In bag related trade shows, lots of design elements and latest fashion trend is revealed. Certain bags are cute, featuring a corsage, embroidered beads, or braided ribbons as decoration, while others are more flashy, featuring rhinestones, of are inspired by classic Asian styles, with wooden beads or sea shells. There are bags for all outfits and occasions. Some women at fireworks festivals and other summer events this year prefer carrying straw bags. Some bags can be paired with dresses for a softer, more feminine look, but they also go will with slightly mannish short-sleeved jackets and pants sets and suits. Anyway, versatility is an appeal.

Popular Items – Straw Bag, Tote Bag in Green Design

Tote Shopping Bag – Big and Practical

Big is the fashion. Bags get bigger with cooler weather because you have more to carry (umbrellas, wraps, hats). Nearly every woman has at least one tote bag, whether it’s for a day at the beach, a picnic, browsing at the flea market or just a day at the mall. After all, a good tote bag is very popular – an absolutely indispensable item. Because canvas tote bags come in a variety of designs and styles, you can match them with coordinating sandals, a t-shirt, gym clothes, or your favorite dress. You can make a bold fashion statement with these versatile bags. Tote bags can replace traditional plastic and paper shopping bags. After you use the tote bags for groceries, fold them and place them near the door so you can pick them up next time on your way.

Straw Fashion

Straw handbags combine colorful and funky designs with the latest trends for natural looks and environment-friendly statements, carrying a unique appeal to consumers. Compared to the conventional leather and fabric handbags, they are much lighter. The use of natural grass also fits in with the trend for environmental protection, while many handbags even come as “natural” straw to accentuate their appeal – and probably even enhance health requirements for the product.

Trend or Demand for Future Reusable Bag Industry

The reusable bag is still the bag of choice for most occasions under the prevailing theme about environment protection. So people would strive to make it better, and the solution should be a bag that is, (I mean many kinds of bag suited to different occasions):

  1 Easily  folded flat, both for storage at the checkout counter and for refolding for the  return journey;

2 Relatively inexpensive to produce, so the supermarket and grocery stores would use it in greater amount not worrying about their cost control.

  3 Made of  durable, sustainable materials that give the bag structure but also keep it  lightweight;

  4 Easy to  carry, possibly in different configurations (traditional handles, over the  shoulder, etc);

5 Has an appropriate strategy for end-of-life disposal when it is finally properly disposed of after a lifetime of good use.

6 Not only durable and long lasting, but also attractive, comfortable and classy.

The last point means that the reusable bags can also be connected to “fashion”. When you think of the “I’m not a plastic bag” craze though many western countries recently.

Alluring Business Potential for Reusable Bags in this Eco-friendly Market Atmosphere

Use of recyclable and reusable bags has now been promoted as a lifestyle. In cities like New York, Chicago and Los Angeles, customers have begun treating eco-friendly bags such as nylon bag as an indispensable accessory that can be reused for weeks, even months, to carry laundry to the cleaners, books to the beach or lunch to the office.

These bags are the most popular choice for both corporate as well as personal gifting. So stores or manufacturers, sensing a marketing opportunity, are racing to a heated competition to make the most durable, fashionable reusable bags. From upscale emporiums to midprice chains, retailers are investing millions of dollars in new flourishes like plastic-coated paper and heavy fabric cord handles.

However, when protocol or tradition demands it, the classic line of women’s tennis apparel from Boast offers comfort and style. Tennis rackets have also evolved as the game as become more and more popular among women. Whether you are a top-level athlete or a weekend warrior there is a racquet designed with you in mind.

The W line by Wilson has the tennis racket you need when you would like to express your personal style. This comprehensive line of racquets designed specifically for women, was created with input from female athletes. Wilson has combined nCode technology with new racquet construction and specific features geared to the women’s game. Tied to the Wilson Hope charity efforts, for every purchase from the W line, Wilson makes a donation to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. All W line models support Wilson’s HOPE efforts to benefit the Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation. This line of tennis racquets includes nine designs, divided into three head sizes each with a different stiffness. These tennis rackets have a new fluid, oval head shape with longer main strings for a larger sweetspot. Other features include Iso-Zorb grommets for reduced shock, a softer grip and a contoured butt cap, all of which offer greater comfort. These rackets also feature a new throat design creating greater strength and stability. Each of the tennis rackets comes in a variety of colors and graphics to allow a players individual personality to shine on the court.

Many sports have had products geared specifically toward women for years, but until now, the tennis industry has concentrated more on changing cosmetics than enhancing technology for women’s equipment. Not anymore! With Head’s new Women’s Series, women will benefit more than ever from innovative technology, products and design – everything competitive players expect from Head. Head interviewed thousands of women around the world to find out what they really want in a tennis racquet. That way, before producing a single tennis racquet for this new line Head knew exactly what female tennis players expected: lightweight power, comfort and maneuverability. The Head Air Flow line, endorsed by Steffi Graf, is designed to be a “function over fashion” line of tennis racquets. This series is meant to suit the performance-oriented needs of a female player. Air Flow tennis racquets, featuring Head’s Metallix technology, combine a specially designed matrix of carbon fibers and a new crystalline metal alloy to make it one of the lightest and strongest new rackets. The anatomical structure of the female hand is different from men’s and so the design of the tennis racket should reflect those differences. Positioned in the redesigned shaft section, Metallix reduces overall weight and improves the response and power of the racquet. The HEAD’s unique ergonomic grip is designed for a woman’s hand- thinner at the top and thicker at the bottom reducing twist and torque for more comfort and less strain on the arm. The result is superior handling and enhanced ball control.

The new DNX Attiva line by Volkl caters to those women tennis players with an aggressive and powerful game – just ask Dominika Cibulkova! These anatomically-designed tennis rackets will help you achieve your top performance. These new designs are light-weight, properly balanced, combined with additional performance and comfort features like: Catapult effect, Big Grommet, Sensor Plus Handle System and of course…the revolutionary DNX material. The Volkl Catapult technology allows greater string movement which provides increased comfort and a larger sweetspot with every swing of the racket. For supreme comfort, the Sensor Plus Handle System supplies excellent vibration and shock absorbance. DNX is a new unique material structure featuring high-strength micro tube construction that is 25 times stronger than regular carbon fibers. It is an entirely new material class whose properties represent the fourth dimension of carbon. DNX has strength characteristics that have never been reached before, a true break-through in material development, now exclusively available in the new DNX Racquet Series by Völkl Tennis. This line of tennis rackets was created especially for today’s women tennis players providing a selection of light, comfortable and easy to maneuver racquets. DNX Attiva provides the versatile strength you need to increase your on court potential.

Developed specifically with the female player in mind, the Dunlop M-Fil Lady has been enhanced with the Impact Shock Isolation System in the tennis racquet handle which dampens frame vibration and helps protect the arm from tennis elbow. Dunlop Hydramax Comfort grip features an exceptional tack feel for players who demand outstanding performance and maximum control. Dunlop has included its Multifilament Construction process at the 3 & 9 o’clock positions to further enhance the stability of this women’s tennis racquet. M-Fil (Multi Filament) is a technology, developed by Dunlop, that incorporates a unique patented 3D braiding process using a combination of three materials : Carbon, S-fiber and Magnesium. The added beam stiffness from the Multifilament Construction enhances the size of the sweetspot and helps prevent the tennis racquet from twisting on off center shots. These element are combined into the hitting zone at the racquet head to enhance the touch and feel of the racquet where and when you need it most – at the moment of ball contact. Unlike conventional racquets, the M-Fil fibers are layered in three directions, with the thrid fibre aligned at zero degrees. Additionally, Hotmelt technology produces a unique molten graphite skin which is layered over the entire racquet frame. This makes the racket immensely strong, durable and responsive, producing an incredible surge of 30% more “heat refined power” than standard graphite racquets. This enhances natural power play, producing greater shot accuracy and giving a more consistent touch and feel throughout the frame. This tennis racket is ideal for the competitor looking for a combination of control, comfort and power in a light-weight racquet.

In 1992 the Susan G. Komen For The Cure (Formerly the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation,) in conjunction with major cosmetics firms, launched the Pink Ribbon campaign to raise awareness about breast cancer. During the 2nd Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Month the Pink Ribbon campaign was launched nationally across America. Through the years the popularity of ‘Pink’ products in support of breast cancer awareness and research has increased. Today many manufacturers offer products with a Pink theme, often supporting their national and international organizations as well as their own breast cancer campaigns. There is now a wide selection of Pink tennis gear perfect for the tennis lover in your life. The Wilson ‘Hope’ tennis cap features a clean white hat with pink trim, and an embroidered pink ribbon with the word Hope stitched in black across the front. In 1998 Wilson launched the Hope campaign. With the Hope products, Wilson intends to raise awareness and get the word out to women everywhere that there are steps they can take to help prevent breast cancer. The packaging of the Hope tennis products includes important information on how to reduce the chances of developing breast cancer. Wilson’s women’s Wildcard sneakers are lightweight and ready to go out of the box. With breathe-ability and nice support this shoe is low to the ground, supportive and solid. The Wilson 3-racquet bag is the perfect accessory for the court. With room for three tennis rackets, and a stylish pink design, this bag will be a hit with anyone. Tennis powerhouse Penn offers both canisters and cases of pink felt tennis balls, an ideal gift for organizations, family or friends. From bags to hats to shoes Pink is the perfect gift for Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day, or her birthday!

should i try putting in box braids extions in a nice type of deep wave and leave it in for a while so my hair can grow back?
Should i cut my hair to the proper layering style i want it in and get fresh highlights or a permenant color and let the hair breath?
or Should i get a new weave with a "hott" short bob?

Box Braids Refreshed
Help answer the question about box braids styles
Why are White women obsessed with their bodies and Black women are obsess with their hair?
I see it time and time again, I work in a predominately female company. Its always the same conversation, White women are for ever talking about being on diets or their thighs. While I see and hear Black women complaining about their hair. Most of the White women are eating diet foods and it pretty much taste like the cardboard box it came out of and talking about the imaginary fat that is on their invisible butt. Some of the women have thin bodies and look great in the clothing that they wear. While some of the black women who should be concerned about the fat that is on their large behinds and the huge thighs are chowing down large sandwiches and high calorie drinks. While their hair is sporting some of the nicest hairstyles. Be it braids or weaves it looks goods . I myself and concerned about both, I like my body to look good and healthy and I am vain about my hair too…. What I'd like to know is, what's important to you, being thin or sporting a great hair style?
