I would stay away from hair extensions. If you wouldn't normally use them in real life, then don't use them on your wedding day. Your fiance will want you to be you, not someone else.
I would just visit with your hairstylist. They will give you the best advise over anyone on here. In all honesty, I think you'll be able to pull off that hairstyle without any problems. You hair is NOT that short. But your hairstylist will know best.
